I feel the same way, and so I talk to mine like my best managers/bosses have talked to me. With enough explicit feedback, trust, and being thoughtfully pushed to my limits, I WANT to work like a genie 😁

Normal! The hardest part of AI adoption at my company right now is getting people to remember that *literally* all you have to do is ask for changes. It feels foreign to conscientious, hard working people.
