We are delighted to have collaborated with artist @BeckyWhin whose beautiful artwork says so much more than we can ever say in words alone, thank you Becky.

A black and white drawing of a person awake in bed, pulling the covers around them and seeming anxious. Moonlight streams through a window where there is also a shadowy figure reaching towards the person in bed. Handwritten text below reads "She didn't know how to sleep anymore"
In fairness, I've never been particularly good at it
A colour drawing. The words IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE are written in browns, orange and yellow on a scribbly black and white background
TW - grief (not about A though so don't panic!)
It's been a heartbreaking couple of weeks here in the hospital. 2 of A's buddies on the ward didn't make it. It's been so painful and shocking. And I just can't make it make sense.
A drawing of a huge octopus holding a smiling sleeping figure in its tentacles. Handwritten text below reads "Kreativity Kraken"
Hmmm I can't quite get this to work so I'm going to stop fiddling with it for now. Been fun though
A drawing of a corridor leading to a door. Above it is a sign saying "GRIEF LONG TERM STORAGE UNIT". There are two people outside, both wearing lanyards, one eyes closed, hands on hips, the other close to door, eyes open, eyes splayed
One of the things I have seen during this long stint in hospital is nurses quietly file certain emotions away. And I totally understand why
Short bit by me: how stories, arts, crafts and making can bring change (not just 'nice things to do'!).
