Also festival/conference programs - if I get a hardcopy, I usually take a photo and give it back. Magnifying the image is often better than a mobile version of the program. Plus it’s waste saving.
What do you use your phone’s camera for? Text recognition and QR codes have opened up so many new uses.

Been thinking about how we used to buy software in boxes. You owned it. Installed it once. It worked offline. No subscription, no data harvesting, no mysterious updates that changed everything overnight. That wasn't primitive technology — that was a different relationship with our tools.

Love ‘moral documents’ and hope we can have moral (and morale!) conversations about the budgets and $$.
Yes and we have so many examples of poor partnerships where cultural organisations give away their value for $$$. How do we not compromise who we are as organisations when working with others? Mining money is Australia is a good example.
Does it depend on where you are in the hierarchy? For a lot of arts workers in orgs they feel like they are reactive to budgets but harder to get proactive about chasing new funding, especially if you’re not involved. The best leaders I’ve had encouraged their teams to understand and work with $$.
