"Abeyance" by the band Be'lakor kicks so much ass.
One of my favorite songs of all time.
There is a bit at the end where the author calls Lee "noble" for choosing to read her preferred style of book and something about how it was written made me feel like they were attempting to be genuine, but it came off more condescending.

Perci is a senior black cat. He's been with me for almost 15 years and I hope he'll stay around many more years. Perci has been struggling with his health since his partner (Artizinha) died of cancer. Her death took a toll on him and he slowly deteriorated, until he gave me a big health scare last year. He is currently underweight and struggling to put some kilos on him, all of the money here will go towards his prescription food, medicine, and wellbeing Thank you very much, Perci & Clover.
This is Perci, he is almost 15! Perci is an elderly black cat who has been facing several health issues, and needs to be fed prescription food as well as other medicine.
If you can spare a change, I've set his tipjar on my ko-fi page. Any amount is greatly appreciated β€οΈ

A drawing of two dragon features woman of differing heights and build together to show some slight differences in features. The one of the left has three horns coming from the side of her face on both sides, as well as two horns at the top of her head, she has long wavy hair with short wavy bangs that go to her tired eyes. The dragon woman on the right has two shorter horns on both sides of her face and two horns coming from her forehead. She has straight hair, with straight bangs that come to her eyes. The dragon woman on the left is nearly twice the size of the one of the right
Iβm thinking of them again donβt mind me
Yeah it's a difficult thing to balance. Something that has helped me is engaging in media where the main characters have vastly different morals than I do.
Gaiseric has scars from barely surviving attempts on his life from busty maidens and thick thighed femboys who used their charm to lure him into their web.
Stormwarrior had the superior Lion of the North(e) song over Sabaton's.
Like instrumentally AND lyrically it's a much more interesting song.

MY NINE GAMES
Assume all the RPGs include their entire series because I am a cheater. Also idk why Vermintide 2's only option was the warrior priest dlc but that also includes both Vermintides and Darktide because, as previously stated, cheater
Not a day goes by when Iβm not saying this.

decided to do the 9 games too (itβs way more than 9 and i might be forgetting something xD)
This is admittedly why I don't engage with (most) fan fiction. It's totally fine and innocent to make characters act different from their source material, just like it is totally fine and innocent for me to not engage with said fan fiction.

fuck, Iβm sorry, I canβt compete with this
Been a rough few months and I'm trying to get back into drawing.
fuck it
I think Endwalker is probably the biggest example where this drastically detracts from the lore when it came to Garlemald. It was not given nearly enough room to breathe, and was rushed so we could have a "And they all became best buddies" conclusion to it.
I like that because it's believable, but then it immediately goes out the window for a basic "power of friendship plot." For the record I unironically like power of friendship anime tropes like I unironically enjoy pizza rolls. Probably will kill me sooner, but man sometimes I just crave it.
Honestly the biggest problem I have with FFXIV's writing is how it often comes into conflict with the lore. You've got this world of believable nations inspired by real world locations. Nations that, in lore, squabble and infight, and politic against each other all the time.
So the game Arcanum had this basically. You were the Chosen one who is said to be the reincarnation of what is essentially Elf Jesus, but the religion and therefore the prophecy are both bullshit (and in fact elf Jesus is actually still alive).
I will say that they do fit better in video games than they do in other mediums, because typically the player has to act out the things that MAKE them a chosen one, basically making them earn it.
I hate to be that guy, I really do
But "chosen one" prophecies are overhated. I think they are actually cool as fuck.
