It'd be cool to explore. I feel that intimidation too, but it's from thinking I gotta do like a whole books worth to begin. Starting small with a page or 2 helps make it less daunting. At that point, it's like an illustration with extra steps lol

I'm sure this game didn't think hard about him. Even before, Shadow appreciates the sites around him, even if he's more business first. He's curious about kingdom valley, pretty impressed by casino park and the egg fleet. Plus he's in colors DS, he must have found something cool at a theme park lol

Fire fighting 3 times in a row was a bad move (not that I personally mind, I like emboar more than infernape), but we gotta be clearer with the issues

Like why isn't tepig a fighter? Why is sprigatito just a cat and not a trickster? Why is torracat just a bigger cat and not a mini wrestler? The problem isnt that they stand, it's more the progression doesn't make sense. I feel people boiling it down to standing is missing the point

I feel the ones that get the issue the most are emboar, incineroar, and meowscarada. I feel like it wouldn't be a problem if some of the Pokemon in the line communicated the final form more. Cause tepig to pignite, sprigatito to floragato, and torracat to incineroar don't flow well at all.

You know, this four leg thing is very petty. I don't recall swampert or Delphox getting this hate 🤔

That was basically how I'd use it, but I'd get annoyed easily with how insane what some of these people will say and post. I never interacted, but I'd rather not be bombarded and overthink dumb stuff. If only the filtering system worked better, there's so much good art there

It's good to ask for advice, but don't ask everyone randomly. Like your manga/anime style questions wouldn't work if you asked a concept artist or a fantasy designer. Try sticking to a few people who have a similar style to you and see what they say, and ultimately make your own call

Honestly, you're experimenting and that's good. You don't have to take my word 100% or at all really. My preference isn't something you should conform to. Try what you feel is right and move in the direction you feel best. We both draw, but we draw different things differently, so keep experimenting

Also this is a bit of a nitpick, but I would consider making the shadows stand out more. When you tried adding the sunset, I noticed some of the shading was still there, so it looks like it's trying to be shaded but also sunset light at the same time, so it's hard to tell the shading is there.

I wouldn't say remove it. If anything, try considering the light and color more when adding it. The pinkish part for the sunset can work. Try and make the other colors around where the sunset is hitting more similar to the sunset. Like making the face a similar tint or changing the blue hair a bit

You're doing a good job with the shading and highlights, especially on the 4th picture. I'm wondering something though. The face on the 4th one, there's a lot of pink one side and blue on the other. What was the intention with that? It stood out to me so I was curious
