Following discussions here about the smaller number of As & A*s in RS, this data from 2023 shows the disadvantaged gap (ie difference in performance between disadvantaged pupils and their peers) varies significantly between subjects. Well done #TeamRE @natre-update.bsky.social #makingadifference

One example of disciplinary literacy in RE to add would be the work of Norwegian's Lars Unstad and Henning Fjørtoft helpfully summarised on RE: Online #TeamRE

#TeamRE I think there are two uses of ‘disciplinary literacy’, which may be conflated. although there are cross overs, are different.

1) literacy in RE - I.e. vocabulary in RE e.g. keywords like prayer, he we can use texts to help reading fluency, how language is used e.g story
