I’ve been describing our foray into Iran as trying to stuff 50 pounds of shit into a 5 pound bag but I think that analogy is more applicable to this

Fun fact - during and after COVID, many countries started to explore and/or implement beneficial ownership data collection as part of its public procurement process.

3) Enviro NGO's have small budgets, so they have to make hay with the tools they already have. That usually means working on projects where the IUU fishing happens to strenegthening those laws instead of lobbying a superpower who isn't inclined to listen to you in the first place

1) Google is right there, this is not hard. 2) Focusing solely on China gives a pass to the other countries (some of them European) who have companies that ignore laws and regulations on illegal fishing.

China is killing the fish An environmental danger almost no one is paying attention to.

This is mainly a "China is ruining fish for everyone" post but to say that enviro groups have stopped working on IUU fishing because they're leftists and that would mean having to criticize China is lazy research
