We started with restrain ICE. Then reform ICE, then landed squarely on abolish ICE.
But Iβve moved on to prosecute ICE yβall. Every last one even if it takes 20 years of trials.
Iranβs people were facing a horrible shortage of water before the war began. If we are destroying desalination plants and setting fire to Teheran we are committing unfathomable crimes.
I lost my cousin on 9-11 and have had to listen to all kinds of conspiracy theories about what happened and why. The state of New York mandates that it be taught through its curricular standards. That's how you do it. What Virginia is doing is dangerous. open.substack.com/pub/kevinmle...
It's as if they understand and accept the facts and/or expert consensus on a given topic but set policy in the opposite direction to annoy the libs.
It's not just ignorance or a lack or knowlege. It's anti-knowlegde.
Glad this was vetoed. We agree this bill injected politics into a function of government that should remain nonpartisan. Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed SB1439, which would have created a special βTurning Pointβ license plate and directed $17 of the $25 fee to Turning Point USA.

MeToo pushed a few big-name bad actors out of their positions, but it did very little to grapple with the systems and the cultures and the people that empowered those bad actors and allowed them to operate with impunity.
This is what Democracy looks like! #NoKings #NoWars Release ALL of Epstein!

DOJ confirmed that 47,635 Epstein files have been removed.
Thatβs ANOTHER 47,635 reasons why we need ACCOUNTABILITY!
Every ICE officer who has broken the law should be arrested, tried, and imprisoned for their crimes.
Donald Trump made our National Guard patrol American streets.
Now some are saying theyβre demoralized, ashamed, and want to quit the military.
But the Trump administration conveniently has no idea.
Chris Murphy: "I think it's likely the United States that carried out this attack on this school. I think it's unforgivable under any circumstances, but the fact this was one of our first targeting decisions speaks to the incompetence of our leadership at the Dept of Defense."
People who love war are sociopaths.
"We have to pull out the most powerful arsenal in defense of our democracy that we have, and that's impeachment and removal. And we can't wait."
Wow -- as first spotted by @BadFoxGraphics on X, Fox & Friends this morning used *old footage of a previous dignified transfer* to mislead their audience about the fact that Trump wore a baseball cap during the one yesterday
Oh.
βWe have agreedβ β how nice of them! Surely theyβre doing this work pro bono right?
Again. This matters.
The killing of Iranian children during an illegal war is an impeachable offense (not to mention a grave crime) and Congress should really act like it.
15 Republicans in the Senate could end this nightmare before it somehow gets even worse.
Our troops are dying this isnβt a video game. The White House is posting so-called βhypeβ videos that mix real footage from the war in Iran with clips from movies and video games like Call of Duty. Itβs an absolute disgrace.
We have the data. My longest columns have more readers, who read longer, and who share them the most.

Graph of award probability of R35 and R01 from NIH factbook as a function of review rank percentile. As is apparent, 2025 is a significant departure, with lower award probabilities at all scores <40 and significant departures from norm, where even being in the top 10% is no longer a nearly certain indicator of success. Data source: https://report.nih.gov/nihdatabook/report/302
The data is in: the NIH goalposts have shifted.
What were once almost certain fundable scores have become coin flips and what used to be likely grants have become aspirational, leading to fewer awards.
Another manifestation of how HHS policies have led to fewer awards and less science.
By 2034, Medicaid will have 7.6M fewer enrollees
AZ, IA and NV will see their Medicaid budgets reduced by more than 15%.
CA and NY will see Medicaid budgets drop by $112B and $63B, respectively

CBS obtained video of the DHS killing of an unarmed man in Texas that DHS concealed for nearly a year, which clearly contradicts claims that he violently rammed anyone. He is shot with his brake lights on, car not moving or barely moving. Another DHS crime.
Last year when I was checking into a hotel, the desk person was wearing Meta glasses. I kindly asked them to take them off. They were annoyed. I said, βI do not consent to you looking at my credit card and ID with Meta glasses on.β My instincts were correct: www.bbc.com/news/article...
