Australia is having a 'day of reflection'. Once it would have been a 'day of prayer'. Then it would have been a 'day of prayer and reflection', then 'reflection and prayer', but now prayer is officially out. How sad. The world's problems need something more than reflection.

Progressive organisations purge on the basis of belief but cannot admit to themselves that this is what they are doing. It's not just that they're breaking the law (though they are), it's crippling cognitive dissonance that sustains this.
