Most of the white housemates never had LP wings up until that time. They were blown away. Thus began the asking for the recipe and how the Black HM’s learned how to make it. Sometimes reality TV can be educational 10% of the time.
Believe it or not, I learned that on a network reality show. Contestants are stuck in a house together for 3 months. The only people in the house who bothered cooking the most were Black Americans. It was the second season I watched where Lemon Pepper wings was the most popular food in that house.

Mass shootings must be so commonplace in the US that not one major news network, not even #MSNow (that I am aware of) even touched upon our tragedy in BC. All I least expected was an acknowledgement for Tumbler Ridge and a sentiment for that community. Such is the world we live in.
