Wow auto correct does not like Susanna which is the first name of the first author I mention!!
@randomyarning
I knit, I read, I sew. I've tried most textile crafts and am even half way competent at some not listed. Not tatting though or lace. I cosplay. I read fanfic. In fact I will read almost anything. Not qualified to give legal advice.

BorrowBox refuses to exist individual named authors actually exist, as far as I can tell. Anything I've found that delights, has been by browsing not searching :(
Reading Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susan name Clarke on Libby, and The Priory of the Orange Tree on BorrowBox.
BorrowBox will not admit to having any T Kingfisher, T Pratchett or Diana Wynne Jones.
Libby will not accept the existence of the alphabet despite being a library app.
Library ebook app test comment: neither system I'm testing has a good search function. Finding something I want to read seems to be a lucky accident.
The Libby app on my tablet syncs with the one on my phone, so if I read on the phone, it goes to last read page on the tablet, which is good.
ooooh, I have been summoned to Jury Duty. Which makes my 3rd time :(
Oh no:( can you cut out enough to keep the dye colour progression going, or will it look different?
I shall be running a spindle spinning workshop at an event soon (not sure if I should be announcing it before the programme is out) but I've ordered the fibre wooo! 2 100g braids of dyed blue faced Leicester, and also 2 100g braids of humbug (one Shetland and one BFL).
Fun for everyone :)
Photo shows a lot of lace knitting with one tiny peak no longer connected to any live stitches. Only 55 more peaks to go.
In the progress on the blanket I am knitting for Colleague T, I have reached the stage of the knitted on lace edge. This is the last stage, other than sewing in ends and giving it a gentle wash and block. Omg the end is in sight!
The HPV vaccine is durably AMAZING.A massive Swedish registry study w 18 years of follow-up found no waning protection against invasive cervical cancer. If vaccinated before age 17, cancer risk is cut by ~80%. Even those vaccinated later still had substantial protection.

Brits: Please scream. This is a Labour govt proposing to hand the property of individual British workers to largely US corporations.

HELL. YES.
Welp. Seems like it's a good day to highlight trans books. I'll do this off and on all day, no idea how long the thread will eventually be. And if you need any trans book recommendations, post in here and I'll point you toward people who might know if I don't since I mostly do romantasy.
Oh those books are *so good*

People who spindle spin: I am going to be running a spindle workshop and want to know what you would recommend for beginners in the way of fibre. I'm thinking dyed merino (assuming it's not felty), but does anyone have a better suggestion for beginners? #Fiberarts #Spindle

Photo shows a jumble of white knitting, with a lace section stretched out over my dark jeans for contrast.
So, my lovely colleague T is going to become a parent in April. So I keep to finish this in March. March is next week. I am 10 of 17 lace repeats in, and also there is a lace edging to do. And it will need blocking, or what the elderly pattern calls, dressing. Sooo it's all knit all the time rn.
Morning Womble, I'm good and hope you are too. I have suddenly realised the deadline for my gift knitting is really close so have abandoned all else to knit. Am listening to podcasts, Betwixt the Sheets and Not Just the Tudors, to keep my brain going. With social media breaks :)
