The aims of the training
An inclusive education system where:
1.	Every child will have the opportunity to go to a local school where they can achieve and thrive.
2.	Families have the confidence that the right support will be thereβ€―at every stage of their child’s education.

Education ministers think:
β€’	β€œFor too long, training on SEND has been inconsistent.”
β€’	Almost half of school teachers say that more training wouldβ€―helpβ€―their confidence in supporting SEND.

Β£200 million will be spent on a national inclusion training programme.

But what actually is it and how does it hope to change inclusion in our schools? 🧡

Four-year-olds don't need to sit still to be 'school ready' The UK government's strategy for early years education in England aims to get children in reception "school-ready." But what school readiness means is debatable.

"Valuing children's experiences instead of focusing on prescribed milestones helps them connect with world as well as develop academically."

Forcing schools to become #ExamFactories is terrible for education, as well as #MentalHealth

One reason the revolt on disability benefits is looking so substantial is the line being used to defend it lacks any integrity.

To claim that the purpose of cutting PIP - a non-means tested benefit - is to help people back into work requires saying something untrue.

Neurodivergent people are treated as noise to be filtered out in most studies supporting the β€œscience of learning”. We are discounted as outliers. Our needs and ways of being are deemed too inconvenient to consider. So, the vast majority of studies just ignore us.

A new bill will lead to mass state surveillance for the most vulnerable. We must act. This bill grants the government powers of surveillance on the bank accounts of the poor, old, sick and disabled people receiving specified benefits

Are you on Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Employment Support Allowance?

UK govt will compel banks to hand information to it about your money. You can't prevent it even if you never committed fraud.

Same won't apply to PPE, tax, subsidy fraudsters, corporate crooks, disqualified directors.
