The aims of the training An inclusive education system where: 1. Every child will have the opportunity to go to a local school where they can achieve and thrive. 2. Families have the confidence that the right support will be there at every stage of their child’s education. Education ministers think: • “For too long, training on SEND has been inconsistent.” • Almost half of school teachers say that more training would help their confidence in supporting SEND.
