A child's furious attempt to understand big emotions and connections with other people manifests in a threat to eat them

Given they've already implied "not being able to have adult sexual expression is a form of tyranny", it makes sense that Caine, constructed without it to keep him "worksafe" as corporate property, would seek other ways to connect and love humans, including ways that seem strange, like consuming them

No one wants to talk about the ways a cartoon artificial intelligence could manifest frustration over his inherent otherness from humanity that aren't violence, cuz another way existential division is overcome is Erotic Union, and our media literacy environment respects violence more than eroticism

There are far less thematic and subtextual hints to suggest Caine will get violent & kill someone, than there are to suggest he will "swallow" someone in a misdirected attempt to express his love for humans and need to understand connect with them, but no one wants to talk about it cuz that's "vore"

I'm just really tired of Violence being the only expression of emotion that gets featured in media, I want there to be more stories that explore how strangely the mind expresses its desires, including stuff like "being a helpless victim of nonstop clownery is a kind of release fantasy"

The Raggedy Ann and Andy movie has so much weird fantasy stuff in it that probably inspired thousands of kinks, and I love it because of that, even if I'm not INTO the kinks myself, I respect art that's free to be so weird that it starts altering people's minds that way

An unfortunate amount of the audience refuses to pick up the textual and thematic information the show is laying out that it is STAUNCHLY REFUSING to go along with the cliches of "dark mascot horror". The rugpull of ep 7 was basically the last straw.

Far more interest in discussing the parallels with a story where a violent, rage filled computer kills humanity and turns the last human into some sort of slug, than discussing the parallels with the movie with the climactic tickle torture and inflation scene

Crack theory that some of TADC's audience is obsessed with drawing lines between it and IHNMAIMS instead of its other inspiration, the Raggedy Ann & Andy movie, cuz it's less embarrassing to group it with a dark, violent sci fi story than a very weird cartoon with every kink known to the internet

Villain Arc IRL Caine is still a twink of 5 foot nothing, but he absolutely makes up for it by being as theatrically extra as possible

I still don't believe Caine is going to have a villain arc cuz I don't believe in using IHNMAIMS as a 1-to-1 parallel for everything that the show must do, but I think I can be persuaded to draw a villain version of Human Caine just for the simple reason that villains are hot
