This is OUR @president.ie, a woman who reflects the views of most Irish people and what we Irish people see as our role in the world:
Brave, just, inclusive and peaceful.
Political leaders everywhere - take note! She is the sort of political leader that most people want.

Last year, 45% of all #UNSC resolutions addressed crises in Africa yet countries have no permanent voice in the room. When those who are most impacted arenโt represented, decisions fall short. Itโs time for African leaders to push for a meaningful reform.

Honouring International Womenโs Day with a look back at how far weโve come.
In 1922, Irish women finally won full voting rightsโthanks to the tireless efforts of those who fought for equality and democratic participation.
Their voices shaped our future and continue to inspire us today.

Very disappointing to see @news.rte.ie new Washington Correspondent Jackie Fox referring to whatโs going on in Iran as an โoperationโ, no less than three times in as many sentences on @rteone.rte.ie 9 oโclock news tonight. Surely the right word is โattackโ, rather than using Putin-like language.
