Not sure "by choice" is the best way to include people who didn't go to uni (or just did more interesting classes elsewhere!) but it was the best I could think of off the top of my head.

Last term I tried an experiment: I walked into my Tech and Design Ethics class, admitted that I had *no idea* what to do about ChatGPT - so I would let them figure it out.

As in: their first project was to decide and write the ChatGPT policy for the class.

They know exactly what they’re doing, and actually, I suppose I should clarify that when I say “conservative media”, I am simply referring to mainstream media.
