Ruby a 11 year old pittie/boxer cross, brindle patterned in a grey fleece jumper with white stars on is curled up sleeping with Louis the tiger patterned 5 month old kitten he is belly up, paw over Ruby's face. They are in a beige fleece blanket.
Sophie is a black and white Kunekune pig, pink snout. Bertha is a black standard (a type of pig!) she has a little pig fleck in her snout, they're standing on grass with trees and hedgerows behind. in the back ground is are houses.

Thankfully we have a wood burning stove & neighbours who gave us some barrows of wood! We forgot to order some, been so busy with Toms recovery from his operation amongst other life complications.
No power since early hrs of the morning. 15-30cm of wet sticky snow fell in one night, many branches down.
All animals are refusing to leave their shelters.
The water might go out.
Thankfully we have battery pack to charge small devices & keep some connection to the fibre.
Would the universe just kindly slow down just a smidge, I’m having a hard time keeping up let alone clinging on by the skin of my teeth!

Very cute, maddingly energetic, with moments of savagery - drew blood on my hand with his baby kitten teef.
