Looking through my old art, I've noticed I have drawings I've made of pre-transition fursonas from trans folks. What would those be called? Deadsonas?
I need to cull my online art collection of those for the sake of respect.

I had that. Just required a LOT of physical therapy.
Unfortunately, there is nowhere that's immune from xenophobia.
Ugh, that sucks...but good luck! Hopefully you can take a nap afterwards.
I can't read it on my phone for some reason, so I read it last weekend. It is amazing how well you combine razor-sharp insight with powerful doses of wackiness and wit. Add to that the bold and clean art style and damn, why is this not a TV series?
"It's a humanized platypus consummating his marriage to Jigen from 'Lupin III.' Aren't you guys supposed to be working?"
Finished the first three pages...and they turned out to be a bit of all right.
In fact, it's hard to get on the day job wagon because they ARE that strong and I can't stop admiring them.
Yes, they do occasionally still do dog things.
But that "vibecession," huh? #politics
"You'll be right up there with the male lead from 'Wuthering Heights'"
Yes, they do occasionally still do dog things.
Yup. In six years we'll have lots of people saying the Democrats have failed because, I dunno, it still costs money to buy underwear or something. #politics
Oh wait, that's Billy from Family Circus.
...
That would work too.
Please tell me Grimm will eat Dennis the Menace. Please please please.
Listening to this again... so posting this again. This dates back, like, twenty years now.
"It is only knock and knowall, but I like it."
Oh, if there was anyone who could do Faye justice (besides Frey)... you were on the top of the list.
A light gray fox-wolf lady in a pentagram shirt, black shorts and boots, then shaved, then with a Mohawk and holding a rocket
For @freyfox.bsky.social: Faye, from his comic βIncomplete Control.β
I may be the unicorn lady, but Iβm also still the furries with weird haircuts lady.
Today's nominee for the That's-A-Turn-of-the-Century-Lyric-All-Right Award:
"As I listen to the rhythm of the fax machine..."
Truly, fax machines are the soulless automatons that propel society into torpor and entropy.
I 100% guarantee I liked Duran Duran's "Notorious" despite Ronald Reagan and not because of it.
2nd batch finished! #toon #furryart
Annnd fourth's done! #toon #furryart
That too.
Doesn't help that I weirdly decided to name a character after the album he's ROASTING... and in my tired, soggy state I felt like my alien-posing-as-a-magpie character was being roasted as well! YES THIS IS LAME, I KNOW.
It was the Trainwreckords bits that got me last night. The excessive negativity towards Styx just made me chafe and I wasn't able to brush it off.
I'm actually sure he's a nice guy in person. The last two decades have been "I have to choose a persona to be a YouTube star" and this was what he chose... and it's just subliminally off-putting to me. Not as bad as the Nostalgia Critic but still bringing up latent self-hatred I want buried.
Linkara doesn't do this; he's just a self-described "windbag" who is very accepting of other people's tastes.
I realized that listening to TitS, as enjoyable as it can be sometimes, generally puts me in a dark place where my tastes or energies feel like garbage. So... I guess I'm moving on. (4/4)
On top of that, he's the only one of modern YouTubers who is using the phrase "Who is this for?" ... a phrase I've come to hate as toxic and dismissive. I don't know, fuckhead, not you, maybe? (Okay, the chances of ever being spoken to by TitS has gone down to zero now.) (3/4)
But I think his sort of aggressive persona, coupled with his "woo wee I'm a dark person" identity, sometimes rubs me the wrong way. He gives off a bully-like energy at times, and the "shadows" almost seem like a way of validating that as "artistic" criticism. (2/4)
All right, a bit confessional here, and it means a little negativity.
I really do like and respect Todd in the Shadows. He's intelligent and has a head for breaking down music. Maybe not in the way of a Rick Beato, but definitely when it comes to vibes. (1/4)
Massively grumpy this morning and trying to get myself out of it. A combination of DST (it doesn't FEEL like 9:45), suddenly deciding I need to do the WHOLE four-page sequence before work tomorrow, going to work in and of itself... and other things.
