Albert was on TV yesterday, at the final ceremony of La Marató 2019, where researchers presented the results of all the funded projects. With some makeup on, Albert talked about Leigh syndrome and the advancements achieved thanks to La Marató funding 💚
La Marató del 2019 va recaptar diners per investigar sobre malalties minoritàries. Entre els projectes escollits, hi havia els dels Drs JM López Blanco i el @quintanalab.bsky.social, que buscaven tractaments per la malaltia de Lesch-Nyhan i la síndrome de Leigh.

Our beloved Laura Sánchez, former PhD student in our lab, visited us yesterday. It was so great to have her back! A perfect excuse to enjoy a good lunch with the team!

Last Friday, we stepped away from the lab for our traditional calçotada—and it couldn’t have been better! It was a great chance to unwind, enjoy some amazing food, and spend quality time together beyond the pipettes and tubes. Looking forward to the next one!
