2/2 Youβre quite influential so please use your platform to environment and disabled people. When you make your bold, provocative posts, donβt forget those of us that are disabled. Thank you
Iβm all for replacing cars with cycling when possible, but please remember that many of us are disabled and canβt cycle even on good days. We need cars to get where weβre going, and we need to not have to feel more guilt for being disabled.

Today @incldisability.bsky.social I asked in my keynote, "What action will you take to effect change for people with disabilities?" We got replies! (alt text in comments)
Thank you to @incldisability.bsky.social for the opportunity to speak today. I enjoyed the chance to dialogue with community members. Iβm grateful to you all for organizing a fantastic conference.
You can find Dr. Rode here at @jr6g.bsky.social! They are happy to answer questions related to their keynote here. Feel free to tag them!
So excited to reveal the cover of my book Trans Technologies, coming out on Feb. 25 2025 by @mitpress.bsky.social! Now accepting pre-orders at mitpress.mit.edu/978026255186..., but will also be available free open-access. Half of all author royalties will be donated to trans BIPOC organizations.
Love this!
At OPM, Muskβs staffers wonβt leaveβthey work around the clock and have even installed sofa beds in the office. Our access to data systems has been restricted, raising serious concerns about cybersecurity and a complete lack of oversight. We are keeping our heads down and documenting everything.
Iβm so happy! And our one on queer joy got in too!
Haha
Actually, if itβs indoors, the likelihood of people getting pneumonia goes up
Totally me and Iβm just dyslexic. I donβt want to post here. Facebook was OK because I could edit. I donβt post on Twitter either.
Hey, itβs great. The people are following me, but if I canβt tell who you are in real life Iβm not comfortable following you back. Please PM me your name.
Hugs
@ Phoebe itβs woke to request alt text. People are good at performative access. People are bad at testing for low visionβ Iβm mean did you see my email about how bad PCS chair is for me?
Everybodyβs name is cut off and there are no pictures of people so I canβt tell who people areβ¦
Yeah, but I can barely use it because itβs really not working with low vision mode. Maybe I can find some accessibility settings.
