If I pay attention to the emotions in my body, I can respond to the people I work with more effectively. By tuning in, I can also adjust my reactions. This workshop will use examples from art and dance. Then we will experience our own somatic expressions. It will be fun and informative!

Emotions arise physically before we can identify them. A buzz in the belly may signal anxiety. Hunched shoulders may express fear or sadness.

Tuning into somatic expressions of grief allows us to experience feelings more fully. As helpers, physical cues offer valuable information.
