Me: I never used to like murder mysteries, but for some reason in the last two years I've started really enjoying them.
Daughter: Well ... you are middle-aged.
Me: ...
Posting this for my daughter and all the girls. Whether we are born with one set of reproductive parts or another should not be a primary factor in the quality of our life. I donβt think this is too much to expect, and yet it feels like the most radical thing in the world. #internationalwomensday
Also I should remember to tag #booksky!!!!

WINTER ROASTING VEGETABLES! Need some cozy food to get you through the rest of February? There are plenty of good options for roasting this time of year β¦ see more tips in comments β¦ #food #seasonal
Good job on not being sick for so long! I'm sorry you have Covid now. Ugh. I hope it passes quickly and that you have a smooth recovery!
I'm still just really sad that we have leaders and high ranking advisors who use such disrespectful language online (or in person). Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I still think people in charge should be civil and avoid insults even when they're fighting tooth and nail. Sigh.
I avoided grains for years and then when the pandemic hit I was like, βI could die anyway!β To this day, eating bread makes me so so so happy and content.
Pleeeeeeeeaaaaassse!
Already past anyway but I have another event on Feb 22 in Salem!
If youβre looking for more people to add, Iβm a farmer, farm podcaster and author!
FEBRUARY VEGETABLES! Did you know there are still lots of delicious seasonal vegetables to eat in winter? Always good to have a reminder. Pass it on.

Bummer. These Leafs run well below $10k depending on the model, but of course driving a Leaf home across the country would be very very very slow with all the charging. LOL! Used cars are expensive in general out here. $10k isn't much for a reliable car in these parts.
We've looked there too! The place I'm talking about is called EV Rides.
EV Rides evridesllc.com -- Check out their inventory via their website.
Thereβs a place in Portland Oregon where you can buy used Leafs with new batteries for less than $10,000. We love our Leaf so so so very much.
@wyden.senate.gov is talking loudly too.
Teaching writing at Chemeketa Community College has been such a high point in recent months. The students are awesome and give me real hope for our future. Fun to be βspotlightedβ on this wall right now.
AI evangelists seem to forget that good work is very satisfying. Feeling productive, helpful and creative are critical components to a good life. I enjoy my work very much.
