A by-product of a new project. It's a result that just came along, but I cannot deny a certain resemblance. Maybe, it's her sister. Anyway, I adjusted my signature for this one 😘

Actually, this a very good line of reason to look at it. Decreasing headcount in European armies can be taken as a counterproof for any kind of warmongering. Never thought of that.

They should have surveyed the politicians in Berlin, too. Their response, would it has been equally unanimous? If yes, what's their plan? If no, how come no-one has noticed?

Printing out greeting cards for my client, a copy & paste error occured. It's high quality paper, so I drew my selfie beside it. In reality, I'm a lean person.

Inking and draw does build muscles after all.

My trip to Ireland, day 1 & 2 ☘️
Arriving at Dublin Airport, riding in a cool blue bus to an old pal o' mine in Galway, getting up early the next morning for driving to Westport, hired bikes, rode the Great Western Greenway, lunched in Newport, made it back in time to return the bikes.

oh, wow. An solch komplexen Szenen trau' ich mich erst gar nicht ran, ich verliere mich in der Details... 😀

Visiting Ireland for a long weekend. Have some catching up to do with an Irish friend I made back in 1989.

There will be an occasional beer and perhaps a wee whiskey.

Tak! Beware of falling nuts. Autumn is here. Crows pickup nuts, fly up in the air and drop them over hard ground. The nut cracks open and the crows are festing on walnuts. Their cleverness is amazing.

2/2 - The beard shadow on the lady, you ask? Well, I needed that for a male person on the same art work. Since I only drew the lady, I used her for finding a good colour for a beard shadow. And besides that: 🏳️‍🌈😉

When I work on originals, I usually have a second drawing on stand-by. For that, I ink someof the details, like the business woman that you can see here. It's my playground for trying out stuff.

Here, I tried out the watercolour for the shrubs, the skin and her blouse. 1/2

Another doodle with my rather recently acquired TWSBI fountain pen. I ordered a fountain pen with an "M" nib. As you can see "M" stand for morbid, apparently 😁.

Nein, den Ahab kannte ich nicht. Der hätte nur die Hälfte gekostet :). Die unterschiedliche Strichstärken habe ich händisch erzeugt - durch Nachfahren an den Stellen, die dicker werden sollen. Also etwas hinterwäldlerisch. Aber eben mit wasserfester Tusche

Wenig flexibel, die Feder. Soll es die auch in flexibel geben, weisst du das? Ich hatte nur unterschiedliche Strichstärken gesehen...

Danke für den Tipp. Erster Eindruck ist gut; ob ich ihn aufs Dauer für meine Zeichnungen verwenden werde, mal schauen. Ich habe ihn mir in erster Linie fürs Urban SKetching gekauft. Und prompt war die zweite Zeichnung gleich eine in meinem Comic Stil mit fetter Outline. Das Dino Skelett, auf Insta.

Am 5. und 6. Juli findet in Gönnheim der 3. Pfälzer Comic-Salon statt, der sich in kurzer Zeit zu einem Geheimtipp in der deutschen Comic Szene gemausert hat. Parallel dazu findet das Streetart Festival statt.

Remember my cyclopath from early May? I recently started another version of the character.

As you can see, the cyclopath has opened a shop of his own in the meantime. Apparantly, business is picking up 😎.
