Happy International Women's Day!
"In the Cards". I like that one too
What's your favourite funny Star Trek episode/film? Mine is probably DS9's "Little Green Men". It's a hoot! Close runners-up are Voyager: "Body and Soul" and TOS: "Spock's Brain".
Happy 60th anniversary, Star Trek! π
I recently found out that the US are going to introduce a tariff on the UK and several other countries until the sale of Greenland is processed. Well, on behalf of Britain, I only have 2 words: f**k Trump!
Yesterday, I received word that I am due to win an award for my acting in a recent series of short films produced in Edinburgh. I could hardly believe it but it's true. The award ceremony will be held next Saturday. Looking forward to collecting it!
Happy 33rd anniversary, DS9!
Today, I very much enjoyed watching the series finale to Stranger Things. It does an excellent job of bringing a fitting conclusion to what has been a fun series.
It's the start of a new year and I would like to encourage a spirit of positivity and optimism. So, tell me: what are some things you're either thankful for or looking forward to?
This morning I am envisioning a kinder and happier world π π
Wishing a very happy New Year to you all. May 2026 fulfill all your wishes & more.
Happy Hogmanay, people! π₯³
This film, which I watched tonight, is absolutely one of the best films I've watched all year. An amazing true story.
Merry Christmas, everyone! π

Remembering John Lennon, who was tragically assassinated on this day 45 years ago.
I'm completely caught up with #StrangerThings. Did anyone see the first batch of Season 5 episodes, and if so, what are your thoughts about it? Good/bad/indifferent? Do you have a favourite episode or character?
Terry Matalas is such an amazingly talented writer. I really do look up to him and he's a great inspiration, imho.
An interesting Star Trek news story is breakingβ¦

Stuntwoman Leslie Hoffman showing me her amazing screen-used B'Elanna Torres costume in Glasgow today, straight after I very much enjoyed interviewing her. She's definitely a star, from the star-studded Star Trek franchise! π
SNW RING OF FIRE Cover Alt-Text for Bluesky Book cover for STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS β RING OF FIRE by New York Times Bestselling Author David Mack. Illustration has a purple-ish space starfield background; very prominent in the center is a black hole surrounded by a reddish-orange-yellow halo of gravitationally distorted light (the titular βring of fireβ). Ghosted and floating in front of this cosmic horror in a pyramid formation are Nurse Christine Chapel (Jess Bush), lower left; first officer Lieutenant Commander Una Chin-Riley (Rebecca Romijn), middle left; Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount), top center; science officer Lieutenant Spock (Ethan Peck), middle right; and security officer Lieutenant La'An Noonien-Singh, lower right, brandishing a phaser like the awesome badass she is. Itβs a truly badass cover, thought it would have been nice if theyβd made my name bigger, but whatever.

If you were in a relationship with someone and they told you, "It's me or the goose," would you (A) break up with them, (B) discard the hypothetical goose, or (C) do something neither of you quite expected?
curated meme via Brian Maisel in STSP; an extremely well lit Voyager bridge, probably the most well lit you've ever seen it, in all its steely blues and gray carpet glory, with meme top text 'MILLENNIAL GREY MILLENNIAL GREY MILLENNIAL GREY' and bottom text 'MILLENNIAL GREY'
Happy birthday, TNG! It started 38 years ago to this day.
Happy Star Trek Day, folks β it's 59 years since the Enterprise first appeared on US TV. Will Earth survive to see a thriving intergalactic neighborhood? We can live in hope! Live long, and prosper. π
Thanks!
So say we all⦠but thanks!
