It’s probably naive at this point to paint the Democratic Party as any kind of party of resistance, but…they are the opposition! Where are people meant to turn if the opposition party isn’t doing any vocal opposing?

The genuine question I have whenever I see Trump’s new manoeuvres (if they can be called that) — where is the Democratic Party, and what are they doing??

This period till just after New Year’s is another example of a lawless time. You can message anyone anything at any time (as long as it’s good vibes). You can eat and drink whenever. You can text your high school crush for the first time in a decade. go for it
