Not seeing Bluesky - yet - as any improvement over Twitter/X. Another example: this comes off as just a mean-spirited left-wing version of the mean-spirited right-wing posts on Twitter…
This is okay on the app that is supposed to be the kinder, gentler, more respectful version of Twitter?
Today is the 1000th day of a war that was begun by a Russian leader who believed it would be over in three days. One of the greatest military miscalculations in recent history.
I open my Bluesky feed and it is full of really cool people saying really smart things and being really passionate about really interesting stuff.
I like this version of social media, and the world.

Crazy Venus fact
Haven't decided if I'm going to post here, as I'm still on Twitter/X. I mean, I also have Threads and Mastodon accounts, but don't use them. Right now, I still find Twitter a good microcosm of the US electorate ... even on the really horrible days. And people can act badly anywhere.
