I Am Legend (2007).
My mom wouldn't let me listen to that song as a kid because she thought it was about abandoning Christianity. All that made me do was listen to it more, and eventually abandon Christianity, lol!
Name a Movie Starting With The Letter "I" (βTheβ can be silent) #filmsky #moviesky
Over on the old place, KG weighs in on tired hot takes aimed at the Jays.
Becca Balint to Kristi Noem: βYou are not above the law. Todd Lyons is not above the law. Nobody working for you is above the lawβ
You think you're immune from accountability β but I promise you this, one day heβs not going to be president anymore β and we are going to continue to prove your guiltβ
Can someone get Scheierman a compression shirt?! He looks like a middle school kid playing town ball in those baggy t-shirts under his uniform! But, at the same time, I hope he never changes!
When the Boston Marathon bombing happened there were Yankee fans wearing shirts saying "Boston Strong", Fandom is fine and fun, but ultimately, if we're decent humans, our love for the sport brings us together, even across rivalries.
I had the same initial thought, but some things are bigger than the sport. I'm a devout Boston fan and I hate the Lakers and the Yankees and LeBron, but retirements and other moments supersede that hate, and this most certainly would be one of those things.
No one can explain to me how what I did in Iraq and Afghanistan made anyone's lives better in Sullivan, Maine.
We get dead soldiers, dead civilians, and young men and women with nightmares and drinking problems. And a Raytheon exec gets another yacht.
Boycott OpenAI! OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman, announced Friday that the company reached an agreement with the Department of Defense to deploy its AI models on a classified network just hours after Trump ordered federal agencies to phase out rival Anthropic.
What if we just replaced all the people with AI?! I mean, think about the energy savings! We're in the worst timeline!
How do they even fact check Trump? He doesn't even say anything remotely based in reality. It's like when my kid says he played Roblox for a million billion infinity kajillion hours" it's just nonsense.
One of the best parts of the SOTU. Classic.
Morning.
excited to hear tech companies will now be allowed to build their own power plants for their data centers. i am sure the makers of "the app that tells kids to kill themselves" will responsibly operate coal plants
2026 is the year of the Horse
The horse:
We can and we should. Stating it plainly that they're afraid of losing money should hopefully encourage them to reflect on what they value. Seeing people with less be more brave than them, put more on the line, and step out of safety should make all these guys take a long look in the mirror!
100% agree, not providing it as an excuse, just a realistic explanation. People with less are more inclined to give more, they're less selfish and have more empathy and are more community oriented.
Money keeps people quiet, unfortunately there is a massive equity gap between men's and women's sports, and the men are making way too much to rock the boat, just look at what happened to Colin Kaepernick. I think these dudes are just too afraid of losing all that money.
Post something from the 80s! π€
Being great on the ice isnβt enough. When the πΊπΈ hockey team had the chance to stand up for the πΊπΈwomenβs team, they chose to laugh along with the bully-in-chief instead.
Thatβs disappointing. Real strength shows up off the ice too.
As for Hip hop icons: Flav is who we wish Snoop Dogg was.
The way the US olympic hockey team has gotten cozy with Kash Patel is the same reason why I want disappointed that the Patriots lost the Superbowl, MAGA shouldn't get to participate in these victories and when these teams let them in, I'm always just so disappointed.
