It’s Friday night, sunny and 71F/21C, I have my windows open, a handsome husband is making us dinner, and I have perfected my favorite martini. Life is good! ❤️
I have Papa Roach stuck in my head and I was singing it earlier and Josiah goes, “aww, my emo wife.” And I was like, “papa roach isn’t emo?” And he said, “but singing Papa Roach softly while laying in bed is very emo.” 🫠😂

Wonderful!! Our church welcomed an intern priest and it’s a woman and having left a tradition earlier this year that does not ordain women or let them truly lead it’s extra exciting and healing for me, personally. ❤️
Also, as someone who was homeschooled K-12, I am a HUGE advocate of public school now too. I am so glad my children are in it and they have a ton of opportunities that I didn’t have.
Yes! Homemaking did not stop when I became a divorced, single mom of a 2 and 4 year old with full time custody and no child support. You can and do, do both…that’s just life. Men homemake too…Josiah is making a loft bed for B. This lie that homemaking is only for stay at home women is eyerolling.
