Stuck train dispatch: NYC bound on Train 42 & made it as far as #BridesburgPA. Brick city. #Amtrak conductor says “4 people are outside troubleshooting the issue” but at least we’re “nice & warm” & the cafe car is open 🤯 Previously told us we were leaving Philly with a new motor & not to worry. 😡

Dr. Hazel N Dukes holds a Lifetime Achievement Award next to Sheryl Huggins Salomon.
One of the great honors of my life was to introduce the late, great Dr. Hazel N. Dukes as she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from @cityandstateny.bsky.social during the CSR alumni awards this past December. She was an inspiring, trenchant and visionary to the end. Rest in Power Mama Dukes.
