that said, if you find it it'll be fairly obvious but i don't suspect many people will be looking that hard

moving everything and not tying it back to main directly.
if you're in the discord, you'll see the updated streaming account.
if you're not, then i'll maybe see you a few times a year whenever i feel like doing model streams.
👋
I have the same season on DVD and I'm not going to say DVD inferior.. but one of the things I DID notice on the DVD set is slight blocky digital artifacting, and I just don't see that on LD. much to think about
coming from gaming spaces where "composite bad", i'm genuinely blown away at how good my Tenchi LDs look over composite signal. the clarity, the hand drawn outline jitter on older anime, the slight grain of the older animation style.. it's just so beautifully analog in an optical disc format...
okay i am fully indoctrinated into the cult of LaserDisc
my laserdiscs are more than just display pieces now!
i know the "sell" used to be a bigger boost but a lot of people say they couldn't see a difference anyway.
PLUS why does it even matter when it's just getting shown to bots?? Even as someone who yaps a lot and COULD post longer videos given the feature.. it never seemed worth paying for.
Tenchi Muyo games, books, Laser Discs
supposed to be Tenchi Tuesdays, but either we’re late for this week or early for next!
handcam stream later tonight!
moving my PSIO mod to a different PlayStation
9:30-ish PM CST
my biggest issue has always been VBridger slowly losing tracking throughout stream and IF I catch it, I have to stop and recalibrate ;; but most of the time that just meant i'd have half a vod of my mouth barely moving LOL
and VTS would always act weird about my sensitivity settings.. frustrating!
me when I actually thought that moving almost all of my setup to physical only would be easier.. In some ways it is, but it just introduces a whole new set of things to figure out 🥲
at least removing a bunch of sources from OBS is easier on my CPU...
Man, prepping VTS and VBridger before stream and dealing with random troubleshooting is such a pain.. it makes me not want to bother going live.
Anyway, let me just set up my physical camera and re-adjust manual focus on my almost unpredictable PVM screen, adjust room lights, check consoles, and...
they hate it when i yap, ark
he wants to catch you slippin….
Babyman appearance!
if you have an e-waste center nearby, you could try asking! Where I live, it costs them extra to have CRTs recycled since because of the materials. If I stop by and ask if anything came in, they usually just let me take whatever
this was the first time I saw broadcast monitors there
check me out!
Ikegami TM10-17RA
actually wild pickup
Ikegami get!
how is the US version of the Tenchi Universe dvd collection cheaper on japanese shopping sites than pretty much any western site..
yeah, shipping would put it over.. but I always bulk ship stuff anyway. win for me, yay
after doing some soul searching over the weekend... I want to put this back in its OEM shell.
PSIO switchboard
testing psio
PSIO!
I can’t tell who this is for except people who want a prop and it’s way too expensive for that. VCRs still show up in thrift stores, $400 can get multiple CRTs EASY, and if it’s for consoles, then a good scaler would be a much smarter purchase. most of the hype seems from people getting duped..
modded gamecube
back of gamecube with hdmi
not very aesthetic photo, but here’s my upgraded cube.

like yeah there's a lot worse stuff on twt, but I usually can avoid that.. the "how 2 min max algorithm, how to max productivity, how to grow ur channel" stuff on the vtuber side was probably the most irritating of the benign side of things
one of the best things about bsky for me is being WAY less inundated with content creator HOT TIPS from people i've never heard of outside of engagement farming with tip threads..
Also had bizarre test results on the TV from the other night, but I have a good idea of how to get it fully working with RGB SCART. I'll continue to work on this offline :' )
