It's all fine & dandy for monogamous couples to hook up & be FWBs, so why the judgment for one partner in a poly relationship to have a hookup/FWB? If you don't understand ETHICAL non monogamy, ask questions instead of making comments like this.

This kind of shaming comment is extremely uninformed & judgmental. So what if one of the people in the relationship is just someone's FWB? What does that have to do with anything? Are they all happy? Are they all fulfilled? All right. Don't make negative statements about it.

This is the part I'm taking issue with in that person's post.

It doesn't matter WHY a poly relationship is happening nor how. If people consent to a poly relationship, then they work at it and they make it work regardless of HOW it works for all parties involved.

Huge amounts of Final Fantasy throughout its entire franchise draws on lore & mythology from around the world. Y’all want to pick apart this gear for cultural appropriation? Better just stop gaming all together because there is NOTHING out there that doesn’t have it in some way.

How about we move on the Vampire Hunter D? Should that not be allowed because it draws from European mythology surrounding vampires? Or Castlevania for the same reasons? We love our Middle Eastern coded Castlevania character but scream at this gear? Nah, fam, can’t have it both ways.

We can’t keep flogging creators for using the world all around us for imaginary world building. Do you equally hate Studio Ghibli for all their fantasy cultures drawn from real life? Princess Mononoke sure makes a lot of references to Indigenous peoples.

In every fantasy story & world published since humans first started meeting other humans & making up stories, there has been cultural bleed. It is intrinsic to our storytelling, both visually & in written word.

Can we just please have our cute fantasy clothes without TRYING to break down each bead & stitch as cultural appropriation?
