❤️
Check out my review (first photo) of @spanoudis.bsky.social book “Roger and Phoebe!” It’s a book that’s the perfect beach read for adults.

Fantastic day with these kiddos. And of course cute story. 💜🐻❄️🐧
It was a beautiful day for a trip to the public library. Yes, I have a giant bandage on my face because school librarians also see their dermatologists over spring break.
Enjoying a super cold day off from school, basking in a sun beam. And enjoying “It’s The End of The World and I’m in My Bathing Suit” by @andthisjustin.bsky.social. Can’t wait get back to school and share with my students.

One of our ELL students speaks Russian and she brought a book from home for cozy read day in the library! @danpoblocki.bsky.social I immediately recognized the cover and it resulted in a great conversation with her classmates. ❤️
Books for the win!

Thanks for these suggestions!
Very sad 6th grader: Mrs. Silwani! All the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Books are out! There’s nothing to read!
Me: Oh buddy, I’ve got you covered. ⬇️
Dav Pilkey, he is hooked! Huge thanks to you and @jeffkinney.bsky.social for books that keep my middle schoolers reading. ❤️

Thanks @katemessner.bsky.social for writing these stories!
I love all her books! “The School for Whatnots” is on our Battle of the Books list this year and I’m currently reading “Falling Out of Time” to see if it will work with an 8th grade dystopian unit. So far it’s yes. 👍🏻
Margaret Peterson Haddix is amazing and I can’t keep her books on our shelves! #booksky
A huge welcome to all my new followers! I’m humbled and honored that you are choosing to trust me with library management advice, book reviews, lesson ideas, collaboration strategies, and pretty much anything books or library related. And I can’t wait to learn from all of you! ❤️❤️

I’m trying to build our horror collection. Do you have any “must add” recommendations? I’m in a middle school grades 6-8.
I love that it won! ❤️
I get a lot of students who ask for a mystery suggestion. After I tell them about it, I tell them this my favorite kind of mystery because it really happened.
#booksky book suggestion time!
“The Mona Lisa Vanishes” by Nicholas Day & illustrated by Brett Helquist is a perfect mix of mystery, biography, history, & nonfiction.
While this book is for middle grade and above, adults will love it too. I can’t keep it on our shelves at school. I loved it!
It’s a fireplace kind of day here in the Orange Middle School Library.
Happy Monday! ❤️

I turned the tables on my classes today and had them do the book talks instead of me. All volunteers. They loved it and of course everyone wanted the books their peers talked about.
Oh my goodness! That’s awesome! Thank you. 😊
No apologies needed. ❤️ Thank you for considering us.
