It's been a hot minute since I made/posted any 3d work! I want to do more diorama's like this going forward - there's just a bit more room for creativity!

once again, I have aged

things are shaping up pretty good! I decided to redo how I was approaching the fluff halfway through because I didn't want it to start getting too noisy

I was going to go simpler with the 3D but once again I have gotten carried away (I need to rework the nose area completely because I am NOT happy with the execution so far)

anyway enjoy this weirdo who is still between names, only because I can’t decide if the current name is too ridiculous both with and without context

this year…… I will post OCs and the worlds they reside in at last. I’m tired of holding it all in my head, I’m also tired of my artistic voice falling by the wayside which felt like a never ending problem for 2025 🫠

I hate the fact I was born into religion and wasn't able to get out and become a real person till I was 18. So much of my life as a teenager is missing from memory unless I really focus, they're a person I will always mourn for but I am SO free now and art is a celebration instead of an escape!

honestly, I used art to escape religion and shut out a world I didn't want any part of.

I'd sketch huge fantasy worlds during church every week. During sunday school, the mid-week 'social' youth activities, just about every other religious-adjacent event I was corralled into growing up.

also half the stalls always seem to just sell liquor, which I'm sure is great if you like alcohol but it would be nice to have more range - especially with how many duplicates there are in general when it comes to the food/drink sellers

I am increasingly disgruntled by christmas markets being full of resellers and having so few products that are unique and actually from independent businesses/artists

I was on the receiving end of some redirected aggression from The Boy this morning when another cat taunted him through the window while he was eating, I closed the blinds but was stood too close and now I have some very cartoon-like scratches (all is forgiven it's not his fault but boy howdy)

so we already knew there was a laminate floor under the laminate floor, turns out there’s a THIRD layer of tiles under all that and they’ve got to be the ugliest tiles I’ve ever seen

one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

its been a hot minute since I've pulled up a multi-hour music compilation via youtube and what the fuck is all this ai garbage and why can't I filter the search to exclude everything from the last few years

this is the third november I've taken mondays off all the way through to the end of the year and every time it vastly improves my mental health but also highlights that if 4 day work weeks were more of a thing, I would output exactly the same amount of work but also be a happier person :v ho hum
