Braves win game 1 of spring training. Love to see it.

I can’t put into words how nice it is to have Braves baseball back.

Hurston Waldrep is injured. MRI showed “loose bodies” but no ligament damage. Apparently he felt elbow discomfort after throwing a bullpen. No real TL at the moment.

I also don’t really care if Profar isn’t excited to DH. He’ll play the field more than Ozuna did. As long as he doesn’t get an attitude his comments don’t bother me.

When I initially saw the Profar reports, I mainly saw “underwent hernia surgery” and nearly threw my phone at the wall lmao

Bowman reported:
- Lopez mainly threw breaking balls during live BP. His FB was around 91-92 mph.
- Holmes FB consistently hit 95 mph.

At this point of Spring you can’t find a true replacement of Schwellenbach, but I’m fine with a Giolito for a piece of mind. Still available guys. Trying not to stress. Just what I really want to see from Alex.

Not to mention wondering how players perform coming back from injuries. It’s just not as solid as I’d like it to be. Even if we only sign an end of the rotation guy, I at least don’t have as much stress over all of the “what if’s”.

I don’t necessarily mind a rotation of Sale, Strider, Lopez, Holmes, and Waldrep. I preferred moving Holmes back to the bullpen. I fear Elder gets the 5th spot now because he’s out of options. But we are one injury away from really having no real depth left.

I’ve got thoughts on the starting rotation as it currently stands. After last season, it feels unwise to not bring in another starting pitcher. Even before Schwellenbach went down I thought we needed someone. But with the uncertainty of Schwellenbach’s injury, it feels crucial.

Just wasn’t the same without Mark.

I’m sure he tried his best, but the guy that replaced him really wasn’t that good.

Only thing I still want to see is some type of move for the starting rotation. I don’t even care if it’s a top of the rotation guy. Just give me some extra depth.

While I don’t envision the entire opening day rotation hitting the IL at once again, I’m still triggered.

My heart breaks for what is happening in the world. Just absolutely disgusting stuff.

I value the loyalty.

This contract feels like a good deal. Only 1 year is a surprise.

Having to watch Kirk Cousins this last quarter has been very unfortunate.
