I was thinking, the "vast" in "the vast majority" is referring to the distance between the minority and the majority or to the scale of the majority itself? Initially I thought the former, but now I think it is actually the latter. Then the opposite of "vast majority" would be "the meager minority"?

I thought it was very "American", but I suppose it isn't that common. If you taste it, I'm curious to hear what you think!

Ah, I messaged that Crossed Hearts publisher, and they said they will also have character covers. 😩 However, they did say their special editions will have dust jackets without the characters. That's more optimistic than I was anticipating, actually!
