@agittner

Bet me to it
I realise the issue. The coverage is on ITV itβs the same with the football we never do well on ITV
Taxi for Borthwick.
Where is the giant foot????
It's the same as the one from everyone else...."arrogant England." Used so often it is the equivalent of "your Mum."
I change channel and then go back
Hayseed Dixie are very good live
Modern Six Nations Rugby is a triumph of immigration
So do I. π
It was clear, as I said Iβm trying to clarify my own position on this debate. Thank you for your time in replying
I always seem to miss these. ***Puts it on the bucket list βget to #BrewEd27β.
Remember the big piece of paper as they arrive for them to draw self portraits and write their name. Helps identify who was there and keeps them occupied until everyone is there
PS I enjoyed your blog and agree with you largely Iβm just trying to get my head round the requirement of novelty in creativity and how we encourage creativity in children
and thatβs what I worry about. Who defines the βfieldβ and does that serve to promote creativity. Iβve read Burbalsingh decrying Stormzy in favour of Mozart. You go to the NY Met, the African galleries far less visited than classical Western artβ¦β¦
I would say so, yes. But that band down the pub badly knocking out Oasis tracks some would say not. Iβm listening to Tony Morrison reading v on the way to the shops and some questioned the creative value of that at the time, is it value judgements?
The old Watership down joke, you've read the book, seen the film, bought the pet, now eat the pie.
(I believe it was hard for her to push rabbit food through the letter box without making a mess) I think the neighbour was out of her depth...LOL
...or are they? Art has value when it causes a reaction? So their response is valid if not in line with part of society. Another question; Is the London Symphony Orchestra full of creatives? Or are they a glorified cover band? Are they creative musicians or music technicians? Genuine questions
3 paintings of a woman by Picasso
I worry that there are value judegements made in this topic about what has "value," and that we "teach" in schools our societal norms. I've taken friends to art galleries who would tell me that the 2nd and 3rd paintings are "rubbish" and "anyone could do that" ..of course they are "wrong" ...
They can be territorial. A friend had one, went on holiday leaving the neighbour to come round to feed it. She ended up having to post the lettuce and carrots through the letterbox as the rabbit so viciously attacked her when she came round!
But thank you for taking the time to find one.
While it is grim it was, like many of his best βquotes,β made in private. He is not swaggering like a two-bit boxer pre-fight bragging about what he is going to do to the enemy. As is always the case with Trump, itβs not so much what he says but that 30% of Americans think itβs right.
We now know who has ALL the Epstein files........
As the Orange one appeared to lionize Churchill. I cannot remember Churchill glorifying in the numbers of the enemy British troops killed, ever. Happy to be corrected.
I heard this on the radio this evening, after not hearing it for ages. It is such a great song. McCartney (the main composer for this one) wrote it when he was 19. youtu.be/wLNQ8EfTiJs?...
My Dad was with you "why say something in 3-4 small words when there is one word that means exactly what you want to say."
A photo of the vinyl album Anticipation by Carly Simon.
Whilst looking for something I came across my copy of Anticipation by Carly Simon. Like many copies the insert is missing the lyrics for βIβve got to have youβ are missing. Love that its previous owner has written them in.
You never told me @imcmillan.bsky.social was on here. He was the last reason I kept my account open on the other place!!! Made my day that has.
