Politics isn't going to fix the problems we have. It can put a stop to the more egregious stupidity, but we need a different approach.
Why is he even there? Did he do something to help?
We are temporary, self-aware animals on a rock in space.
This is the only life you get.
Donβt waste it. Donβt damage othersβ.
And donβt extinguish the only system we know that can understand the universe.
Apparently weβve never had a grasp on laws. Why wonβt LA enforce state law? This isnβt a jurisdictional question. Itβs the police job to enforce, not make or interpret law.

Since humans took thousands of years to accept that the earth wasnβt the center of the universe, perhaps we should not be surprised that weβve yet to grasp the concept that the law applies equally to everyone. That concept was the impetus for the Magna Carta in 1215. Itβs only been 800 years.
