Someone did a survey of F/F romance put out by big publishers and while the sample size is small (because unsurprisingly F/F romance isn't put out in enormous numbers), the results are pretty grim:

1) most is femme4femme, butches are underrepresented

2) no transfem authors, no transfem leads
