Building a site on the default theme seems more and more plausible as the block editor improves... So much of page layout is about the editor and blocks, not theme templates.

Bluesky team: you could REALLY accelerate community here by making Starter Packs votable, rankable, searchable.

I'd like to find the best starter packs for specific interests, and quickly rebuild communities & sources of info from that other platform.

I'm trading hats so fast they all blur together.

Starter packs are a great part of Bluesky.

Anyone know good starter packs for
- JavaScript / React Devs?
- Entrepreneurs / Builders / Indie Hackers?

For tldr types:
1. You'll always face hard tradeoffs.
2. Hiring and managing a team is very hard.
3. Do more marketing (even if less product).
4. Find and increase your 'best' customers.
5. Learn to say no to good ideas.

I left a great engineering job at Automattic this year (before the chaos) to start another business.

It's not any easier the second time. 😅

I hope so. It so hard for any platform to get the critical mass of users needed for lift off.
