In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, a starving family and a Bob-omb sailor ask Mario for "anything edible". When offered explosives, the family will decline, but the Bob-omb will happily eat them. This may either be a deliberate Easter egg, or a serendipitous coincidence.

(this just boils down to “Yes, game good— but I have NO experience with PvPing other players like this”)

(the closest i’ve gotten was SDS and APG— one had the pleasure of /respawning/ team-based battles, and the other was sort of a beefed-up party game)

Two close-ups of physical pixel art. Both images feature a stylized version of Belfort & Lupin’s heads— their origin is from the eponymously titled show. Cut-up index cards were glued together to fake depth, and the majority of the segments were colored using pencils, pens, and markers. From the angle shown, these body segments cast a small shadow. Parts featured for both Belfort and Lupin are their eyes, eyebrows, and snouts. Moreover, Belfort (left) has his floppy ears, while Lupin (right) has messy hair and a segment of light fur that extends downwards. (it should also be noted that Lupin has a wide paper segment of light purple around his eyes— something that was absent in the digital pixel art rendition of these doggos)

Belfort and Lupin fan art (which also is pixel art to some extent) The scene displays the eponymously named duo in different positions. All the figures are suspended in a cream-colored background, which has a set of blurred lines to for viewing convenience. Belfort is a white and yellow colored royal spaniel with a red leash. Said leash has a gold flower-like icon dangling from it. Lupin is a purple-ish wolf. His fur is more disheveled compared to Belfort’s, and he’s also a deep companion to him. Towards the top, Belfort and Lupin are seen sitting together, facing right. Both styles have either or in front of the other. The bottom shows Belfort and Lupin facing towards a pixellated version of the show’s logo— complete with red and gold coloring and staggered letters. Both doggos are seen with glee in their eyes.

A jolt of creativity has been put to good use
