Mullin is "merit based hiring" and KBJ was a "DEI hire".
This country.

Seattle musician/songwriter/composer. Dem, Anti-MAGA, Anti-GOP. The conservative movement is wholly based on a fervent desire to go back to 1950, except for tax rates. Nothing else matters to them. #Mizzou #UW #Mariners #Seahawks

Lab worker labeled "Vaccine research". Women in green shirt on toilet labeled "Anti-vax research".
Del Bigtree in the green shirt below. No training or education in anything medical/biological. "Attended film school in Vancouver".
I have not forgotten that 3rd party and non-voters helped give us this Supreme Court which gave Trump his immunity.
They are still out there.
And if the system which enabled him to come to power and abuse it isn't changed, we could get another Trump.
Yup. Any system that allowed Trump to be elected, twice, and stay in office, is severely flawed.

It sure is a good thing we didn't heed President Carter's efforts to wean us off oil.
What a compelling rebuttal.
Really bad take. Ossoff has been in office and we've seen his track record. Saying he equals Fetterman disqualifies you from the discussion.
This is the stupidest messaging I've seen in many years.
Mostly because they will root for whoever can roll back the clock to 1950.
As long as he's doing that, "owning the libs and destroying DEI, they are on his team.
That's all it is.
The permission structure is for white males to openly be their worst selves.
Q: "Do you think what ICE is doing abides by the Constitution?"
Noem: "I haven't seen the specifics of the Constitution."
Ketanji Brown Jackson was a DEI Hireβ’, but Hegseth is meritocracy. π

I'm no expert on Maine, so speculating from afar. Was keen on Platner for 3 seconds, then heard his interview on PSA a few weeks ago. I came away "ick".
1. Can't we find people who don't NEED "good excuses" for dodgy shit?
2. Elevating this guy to the U.S. SENATE from nowhere seems super bad.
*which is SAD
I do think it's more complicated than it appears. I think there are a lot of people who do mind his shit, but want Collins out so badly and they think Platner has the best shot. He might, which is said, but still, we should be shooting for MUCH higher than someone with Platner's "experience".
The opposition research on Platner will be a huge gift to Republicans funding Collins.
Back to 2009: Platner had finished 4 years active duty and enrolled in college, but quickly dropped out and wanted to go back to war. The Gulf War was raging; the Marines were so shorthanded they were recalling servicemen to duty. But they didnβt want Platner. 3/
One war criminal helping another.
The tighter Republicans running for office cling to Trump, the higher the chances for a bloodbath in November.
So far so good.
Well, to be fair, he's walking around without a brain.
Mullin will be confirmed, be another PR disaster, and be out in 6 months.
Watch.
Hey, what do we expect from South Carolina - it's the state that vomited up Lindsey Graham, Tim Scott and Nancy Mace onto the country. π€·ββοΈ
The only thing preventing Trump from saying Iran should be the 51st state is that it's full of Muslims.
Not only that, extra rights for white males was baked into our founding documents.
The DNA was tainted from the start.
Yeah, that's why Bondi was just subpoenaed. Because everyone except you forgot about the Epstein files.
Jesus Christ.
When will a reporter throw this post of his back in his face, in person?
Oh, right, never.
Hegseth: "We're going to kill thousands of Iranians to demonstrate how opposed we were to their regime oppressing them before we killed them."
I'm not important at all, and I fully realize it. That's the hilarious part here. I'm a nobody.
