Sale hitting his 90th percentile outcome in 2024 and Grissom hitting his ~20th percentile doesn't somehow retroactively invalidate the model, which correctly assessed a trade *that actually happened* as realistic.

Buncha folks on Twitter dunking on the BTV post of last year's Chris Sale trade and...I really don't get it? The model thought it was a fair deal at the time, so did writers/evaluators and, clearly, so did the Braves and Red Sox.
