You know they lie because their lips are moving.
You know they lie because their lips are moving.
This is shocking. Labour lawyers βblockedβ from briefing MPs on jury trials overhaul before vote. The Prime Minister is completely out of control on this. MPs must come together and stop him from undermining & restricting a fundamental cornerstone of our democracy

A spokesperson for Tony Blair said his remarks at a Jewish News event in the US were for private not public consumption. Which is exactly why voters get pissed off - saying one thing in private and quite another in public.
We need more greens to get rid of these unionist millstones round our necks.
Relieved that no serious injuries have been reported after the devastating fire in Glasgow.
My thanks to the emergency services and partners for their hard work overnight.
We will support Glasgowβs recovery and work to get the city centre up and running as quickly as possible.
The Justice Secretary - a former barrister - suggesting that being wrongly accused of a crime and imprisoned for 3 years is just like βscraping your kneeβ in order to justify undermining and restricting a fundamental cornerstone of our democracy is absurd, embarrassing and shameful
I would never trust her at all. She lies and whines thinking that will people to like her but she is just unlikeable.
Scottish Conservative drugs spokesperson Annie Wells MSP told the Scottish Daily Express: "This organisation has become nothing more than a mouthpiece for the SNP. They are enabling the nationalists failed approach to tackling Scotland's drug deaths emergency. Over Β£4million of taxpayers' money has been given to the Scottish Drugs Forum by the SNP to help them lobby against common-sense policies like the Right to Recovery Bill.
Disgraceful comments from Tory MSP Annie Wells about the Scottish Drug Forum.
Who would you trust more:
- an expert and user-led advocacy group who've real knowledge & ideas on how to tackle the drug crisis?
OR
- a Tory politician whose Government presided over failed "war on drugs" dogma?
Reposted to show the scale of what we might lose as Scottish Labour try to hide their slavish commitment to the Tony Blair plans, approved by Starmer, to privatise NHS Scotland

Is this another Labour MP telling lies??? Surely not.
Englandβs Pisa scores are based only on a tiny selective sample of higher achieving schools making Paul OβKaneβs sad desperate attempt to claim they are better than Scotland just another under-educated failure from Scottish Labour talkingupscotlandtwo.com/2026/03/09/e...
Scotland has the lowest child poverty rate in the UK, and 90,000 fewer children live in poverty thanks to our policies.
But decisions at Westminster have too often held us back.
I want to fully eradicate child poverty, and Scotland should have the full powers to do it.
Oh, the things I could list about it being absolute made up slop....
I'm pretty sure folks in England would be outraged to learn another country had brought nuclear weapons onto it's soil, which had they known about, they would be very much against.
Welcome to the Scotland/England dynamic!

Democracy in the UK
Unelected Head of state
Unelected second chamber of parliament
MPs pressurized to toe the party line
Political parties, too many legislators available for hire to the super-rich
Unlike the EU no workplace democracy
FPTP skews election outcomes
Deep social/economic problems.
We can do more even within the fiscal cage muntil we finally achieve our independence

Firemen and women and Mr Kongira. Such bravery shouldnβt be ignored. ππ»ππ»ππ»
While we're acknowledging heroes, hats off to Mr Kongira here.

Two firefighters resting, sitting on the plinth of the "Citizen Firefighter" statue.
Quite an image on the BBC live page (www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cd...; no photographer credited).
Sounds as if they've saved the station and the hotel, and more importantly, without loss of life.
Citizens; heroes.
