Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever.

Even through the dark days with Atlas I could never have dreamt this one up ❤️

Maximus Decimus Merididus

Never in my wildest dream could I have imagined he would look as happy and content as he does today.

Incredible ❤️

A week ago Velvet had just been attacked by dogs and needed 30 stitches.

This is what she's like today. 🩷

I don't share all the dogs we find.

I haven't share this elderly girl that was hit by a truck a month ago. Simply because it was too sad and I didn't think she'd make it. Nobody needs to see that.

Luckily she's been fighting very hard and there is now hope. He name is Airbus

The I paper headline:
A Brexit rethink is emerging. But Europe fears Farage will destroy it.

The I paper headline: A Brexit rethink is emerging. But Europe fears Farage will destroy it.

I am increasingly negative about the chances of a positive resolution.

The fundamentals that led to Brexit are still there - frustration with UKG, anti-Europeanism, poor jobs, ignorance, and populist-fascist voting - with the latter if anything stronger.

The UK must change.

There was a very good reason we called her Hope....because she had none.

She's a different dog today... incredible

3 weeks ago when I picked her up she was utterly broken. Today Biscotti was getting her golden ticket to retire with us.

Biscotti literally cannot stop smiling. Love, care and security have given her a new chance at life. What a lovely dog she is.

.
I cannot help you if you insist there is some other phantom cherry picked incremental agreement in the absence of dropping the SM red lines that the UK can forge with the EU. There really isn't. So for the umpteenth time can it please be left at that.

27.01.2026 18:29 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

And you precisely prove my point with the dismissing everything short of an immediate A49. At least three times I have pointed to the pre-requisite of a genuine switch to work towards a SM/CU agreement (which is *not* EU accession) Which you have ignored & swerved around.

So desist with the sanctimonious lecture about posting etiquette.

27.01.2026 18:17 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Its nada to with good faith. Am simply bluntly disagreeing with you and have tried several times to explain why. But you refuse to accept that disagreement and some of the apparent terse term is b/c this conversation is very circular & repetitive and you just won't let it drop.

27.01.2026 18:17 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Trouble is Gyles you wouldn't recognise logic if it hit you in the face. You are guilty of targeted harassment using multiple accounts, refusing to engage in good faith, deliberately misinterpreting what others write, and ultimately of not actually knowing what you're talking about. Bye, again.

Yes - cyber landfill indeed. Nuisance obsessive trolling and stalking. Including using alias after alias to follow those who he knows block him time after time.
Needs properly reporting and dealt with by Bluesky to put a final stop to this idiot.

27.01.2026 18:03 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0

Labour self evidently won't reach that point & do not have the slightest intention in doing so. Nothing substantive will happen until there is a UK government that finally ditches the moronic lines.
Its a circular and repetitive discussion until/or if that happens.

27.01.2026 11:35 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

It does precisely equate to bad faith & cakeism. The 'spectrum' is either in the SM or out of it. No bespoke menu to cherry pick from in between. End of.

27.01.2026 11:31 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

That would have been my answer too. Equally deliberate misinformation from RW crooks, media & politicians to ensure the main public stay misinformed & likely to make wrong choices. But again, all this gets repeated on here all the time.

27.01.2026 11:28 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Of course it is - that fact gets repeated every day on here. But the conversation never moves on. Its why I have contributed less & less. It is circular and leads nowhere.

26.01.2026 16:49 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Beyond that is, the idiotic pretence that Brexit can be made to work, that somehow the EU will cave in to UK cakeism - which is the real truth & intent behind the facade. Labour outright refuse to 'pay to play' - end of pretend vacuous and meaningless waffle about 'closer ties'

26.01.2026 16:17 👍 4 🔁 1 💬 2 📌 0

I have just explained that in the context of refusal to drop the red lines there is no other bespoke solution to 'closer ties' beyond continued warm vacuous words and some convivial lunch meetings that have no actual real substance

Instead, same moronic red lines, same cake & eat it cherry-picking approaches & Brexity entitlement as the May/crook Johnson era - with granite like insistence time after time that the red lines will stick in place. He is not just unsuitable, he is disingenuous & idiotic.

26.01.2026 14:58 👍 4 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0

And despite all the Labour supporters Road to Damascus fantasies that after his election he would make a genuine pivot back to the EU.

26.01.2026 14:58 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

Starmer does not deserve empathy for his (self made) cul de sac. He sold his soul to back Brexit as means to blackmail disgruntled voters to Labour following the reign of the previous crime syndicate.
