Today's lesson - picking up the canter over a pole. After multiple failed tries, it worked. Coach dons serious coach face, asks, "What did you do differently that time" ME: "Got out of her way" Coach approves. Mare knows her job, just needs me not to get in the way. #eqsky. #mysca

Garrocha work yesterday. I fooled myself into thinking I was done with Garrocha, but it reveals imperfections in my riding. I managed to write my initials in the arena footing. I need to build myself a better Garrocha pole. #eqsky #equestrian

I am beginning to think that "Wall of text" is the way I train people not to ask me questions.....

The mare got yesterday off - some grooming and love and a bit of lunge but no riding. She may have turned a foot on Thursday. She and I are old enough that it is better to err on the conservative side and permit more rest. Monday however the weather will be good #equestrian #eqsky

One hopes in that order. If you bought the horse before you found the glasses you might find that your halter and saddle don't fit the large dog you just bought..... Good luck

Following on the prior thought. Of course today I couldn't do as well as I could at the end of the prior lesson. That is normal. I know it is possible now. #equestrian

Perhaps you could comment on how well that worked for China? Where the test devolved into the ability to quote the masters? Do you really want control of political power to be restricted to those who can memorize and regurgitate cannon?

I consulted with my expert who reminded me that Pivo 2nd gen is markedly superior to 1st gen. It is worth your while to verify which one you're buying. I hope it works for you; I don't mean to sound like I'm throwing shade

Tried it in the indoor, tried in the outdoor. Can't predict when it will work. I've been advised to try more colorful tack. If it is warm enough this weekend I'll give it another try. I _want_ Pivo to be awesome....

Much depends on the color of the horse. Pivo could track my old paint, but is having trouble tracking my bay. When it works, it is great. Very disappointing when I complete what I believe to be my final pattern only to discover that Pivo has just taken 6 minutes of the tack cabinet.

In my junior year, I dropped a course. Apparently the department never got the drop form, so the day before the final, the professor asked if I was going to attend the final. I was .... a bit surprised... I took the final and I think that was the highest grade I got that term....
