DC: when you lose connection to the game service
DDoS: when you were doing good and you DC’d
Rage Quit: when you were doing good and someone else DC’d
Lobby Crashed: when you were doing bad and you DC’d
Lag: when you missed your shots

3k is not really possible with 55%, statistically too likely for high point loss. i dont think im all that but i pretty consistently sit around 70%+ win rate overall.

i like to think my mechs and game sense are pretty good and i kinda just spam solo open all the time rather than x. i have similar sorta issues around x but ive found that the low stakes environment of open gives me space to grind a lot without burning out. maybe try it.

also to be clear, if not running sj is getting you killed on an even semi-consistent basis, put that shit back on. at least if it isnt just a case of terrible jumps. your main slot and slightly faster jump ins are not worth your life.

and no, i dont think the answer will almost ever be drop roller

i think with the sj nerf its time to start experimenting with non-sj stuff. sj is gonna be required in most situations still i think, but particularly on large maps and on comps that can afford to avoid it (beakon, bubbler and vac hp cycling stuff, etc) might be worth looking into
