The media demanding he goes every day…try investigating Farage instead
The Times calls Keir Starmer's decision to hire Peter Mandelson an "egregious error" which deserves an "inquiry into the appointment process."
Not included is any demand for an inquiry into their own appointment of him, long after his post-conviction relationship with Jeffrey Epstein was exposed
This! 💯
McSweeney going is excellent news. It doesn't fix any problems by itself, but it is the precondition for fixing those problems.
Excellent work by Reform at Kent Council, who made a £40m saving by briefly proposing to spend £40m on something then deciding not to. Using this model, every Reform council can save £billions!

The media HATE him because he was an observer at Wapping and they have never forgiven him. Plus he was involved with Levensen. Really wish they were as good as going after Boris Johnson when he was PM and also why aren’t they all over Farage???
"out of friends"....no, he isn't, that's merely what media are constantly churning out in their desperate attempts to get ReFUKKK into power. He has cabinet and lots of hardworking MPs beavering away locally doing their jobs, but without slebbish social media one-liner memes for the benefit of media
more of this please. Utter shower of shite.
BREAKING: Keir Starmer is to provide an update as early as tomorrow on how the government will address issues highlighted by the Mandelson scandal
Can I offer you a different perspective? I believe Starmer is a decent man - who listened to his advisor. That advisor was wrong. A failure of judgement. The world is in a dangerous place. This is NOT the time for a change of leadership but a time for strong, principled leaders to come together
Since #bbclaurak is trending, let’s remind ourselves that ONE MONTH ago, the BBC invited Mandelson on for a soft-ball interview on her show. While HIS CLIENT , Palantir’s Louis Moseley appeared as a pundit
Both, as I wrote at time, were ‘abject failures of journalism’

BREAKING: “This was the wrong decision… I don’t think it’s good for the country to be changing its Prime Minister every eighteen months. It has an economic cost, it has a confidence cost, it has an international reputation cost”
Work & Pensions Secretary Pat McFadden
I warned Starmer about Mandelson.
My wife Bunty did
So did Dean our paperboy
Ramrod our Lab did.
Jill in the village shop baked some warning baps for him & Simple Sally, who helps Jill, warned him using dance & spit.
Ronnie Pickering warned him.
So did Chaka Demus.
And Pliers.
Why didn’t he LISTEN?🤦🏻♂️
“It could take years to restore Brexit losses”
Especially if Farage comes along and tears up the ‘reset’ as he threatens.
Honest to god.. it’s such a tedious, idiotic, resource-sapping mess. There’s really nothing patriotic about it. Prejudice costs such a lot.

A lot of racists in UK media & politics are currently limbering up to hold Donald Trump to an infinitely lower moral standard than they did Gary Lineker.
Starting with Farage, inevitably…
Reform UK will face a police investigation in Gorton and Denton after admitting it sent out letters from a “concerned neighbour” which did not state they had been funded and distributed by the party

BREAKING: Gordon Brown defends Keir Starmer
"I can look in his eyes and see he is a man of integrity.
"He wants to do the right things. Perhaps he has been too slow to do the right things. But he must do the right things now.
"Lets judge what he does"
BREAKING: Gordon Brown says Keir Starmer should stay as PM to "clear up the system and tackle corruption”
Have a read of this. Great scoop, obviously, but it’s also an absolute masterclass in how to report on these jokers. Plenty of London-based hacks could learn a lot from Martin Shipton here. If they actually wanted to…

Patrick Wintour • @patrickwintour X.com Striking that it is from outside government in the shape of Gordon Brown that a plan is laid out to end the systematic abuse of power revealed by Mandelson scandal. Much of it derived from Transparency International and Brown's own report A New Britain. (Emphasis) Current anti-corruption Tsar Margaret Hodge (emphasis) upgraded to independent parliament appointed anti corruption commission with power to seize assets; controls on political lobbying including 91 peers currently paid to give political advice; existing Ethics and Integrity Commission to be given statutory powers to investigate bank accounts and initiate investigations; public select committee hearings to vet appointment of senior diplomats; end to MPs second jobs (with professional training exceptions) & controls on ministerial private external communications. Brown says Starmer could introduce a comprehensive bill within 3 months.
😘 👌
The endless column inches, YouTube videos, podcasts and more given over to the largely non-existent rightwards shift of young men is exhausting.
A small fraction are getting radicalised by the online right. But most young men vote left and liberal! Even more so than millennials did at their age!
But they all seem so honest & competent!
Just a word of thanks to our fantastic media. Despite my racist bullying at school, having a senior colleague imprisoned for being a traitor, breaking the MP’s Code Of Conduct 17 times, my dodgy house purchase and even being in the Epstein Files, nobody is demanding I resign!
"I should just point out that this is the SIXTH time we have invited unelected gobshite Zia Yusuf onto Question Time"
Remember the fan fare to Johnson’s levelling up fantasy?
Now we have a PM delivering levelling up through his Pride of Place programme with a £5bn allocated budget spread across the country
Tumbleweed.
The media don’t give a toss about you and your home.
I must say, even as a Tory, that Reform can never be accused of hypocrisy.
For instance Nigel Farage saying Mr Starmer’s association with Mr Mandelson was a “Grave error of judgement” & he should resign.
Mr Farage’s ‘associations’ could NEVER be called grave errors of judgement.🤔
Most of our media is studiously ignoring the Epstein links to Brexit, Farage and far right populism. Farage is being touted for No.10. He wants an even more extreme Brexit. A race to the bottom to sell us out to this global network of oligarch crooks.
Why TF isn’t he being investigated and stopped?
I have just one thing to say to Nigel Farage in light of his Mandelson/Starmer criticism...Nathan Gill.
