The people leading studios need to understand that what they say can not only hurt the public's perception of their films, but also their employees. Good voices and representation are important in stories and they should be heard in the art that filmmakers want to put out.
When we first learned about the Cartoon Cartoons project in 2021 they specifically stated the shorts would "cater to a variety of audiences ranging from preschoolers to adults", and they weren't bluffing.
Makes you wonder what the hell the original release strategy was gonna be.
This week's Cartoon Cartoons is "Duck", from Tony Hull and Mic Graves.

The "Only the kids like Animation" mindset is just as much a problem for the industry as the people who run it.
Frankly, the former mindset might in fact be what is used to justify having it be the focus of budgetary related cuts and layoffs.

I have no idea why you would be a member of the Academy and vote for the Oscars if you don't watch all of them films. It really isn't that hard to sit down and spend a few hours watching every film to decide which does the best in what category. Some of these voters are stubborn.

Fernando's cartoon finally done got uploaded, now we can all see funny things again! And he is very, very funny.
Not to mention that I think it’d be an awesome outlet for all the designers of the show to experiment with, to really see what could make a new era feel distinctly “BFDI like”!
Again, this is all just an idea I’ve had in mind since TPOT started ramping up in terms of tenacity
The frame of reference I’m using comes from Inanimate Insanity, as it saw a visual overhaul following the events of the S2 finale
Additionally, I’ve always liked seeing people’s interpretations of what the OG BFDI players would look like with the modern style, so the idea’s kinda stuck with me!
This is mainly me just spitballing but, I honestly think it’d be *really* cool if BFDI got a visual overhaul following the conclusion of TPOT
Considering that TPOT marks a major turning point in BFDI as a series, marking a new era following it with a new visual identity feels only fitting imo!

Out of all of them, I definitely feel that A for Angel currently has the most potential to fill that role! Could easily change with future shorts though!
