i’m excited for your cup plants to take off!! i sowed my seeds two years ago in the fall. it was very fulfilling to watch them grow tall and flower this year after just being a rosette of big leaves in their first year :)

my partner has a fascination for variegated plants, so we planted a variegated jacob’s ladder plant (often seen under the name “golden feather”) & a variegated bearded iris but i am unsure of the species since it is not flowering rn

this the entire wildlife hedge. i believe the plum species we planted is Prunus americana

my partner & I created a wildlife hedge in his mother’s backyard yesterday! we planted almost entirely native species- whorled milkweed, wild columbine, blue false indigo, coreopsis sp., common boneset, iris sp. jacob’s ladder, obedient plant, american plum, & golden alexanders!!! 🥰🌿🦋
