You got some nice kids coming through the system. I’m sure you will, feel like we always lose in Nationals park lol

The Mets can afford it, and the Lolmets era is dead. The worm has turned, to paraphrase Gary Cohen. They’ll win a couple of titles during this contract, and Soto will win an MVP or two. And he gets to play in a great stadium, with a fanbase desperate for heroes to cheer for.

The guy has been traded twice. Which team and fanbase is he supposed to be loyal to? His original cheap team, the team who became cheap, or the team who embarrassed themselves in the World Series? He’s chosen his team and his fanbase now, and it’s an excellent choice.
