It's a great one. Played many hours of it.

I have a collection of old name tags. For some reason they meant a lot to me. I'll post them soon.
It's important to remember your beginnings. My first job. Ha!
Hadn't seen this game before. Interesting.
Front of a 1985 Fleer Robot Wars wax pack. The top shows the red Fleer logo above large yellow block letters reading Robot Wars. Below it says Rub Off Games and Stickers with Bubble Gum. A red burst reads Win a Real Robot with details on sticker backs. A small yellow cartoon robot is pictured at right. Along the bottom it reads 3 cards, 2 stickers and 1 stick gum.
Fleerβs 1985 Robot Wars trading cards are pure oddball 80s fun, wild robot art, scratch off game cards, and stickers. The wax pack is not as cool as the cards themselves, but Iβm sharing it anyway. Still two cards short of a full 37 card set. So close!

Speaking of Ferguson, watched Silo yet? Wife and I are almost done with Season 1.
Everyone's gaga over Segagaga's translation - because it originated from machine translation. In my latest musings, I ponder over the ethics of using machine translation in fan translation projects and wonder if there is more than just expediency and efficiency in life.
Starting homework for next @pixelgaiden.bsky.social podcast.
H.R. Pufnstuf. Who's your friend when things get rough!?
I still remember the complete theme song.

I will check my notes and try and find the password I used.

Is this the one you are using? This is the one I was referencing.
Password? I don't recall needing one! Let me poke around and see if I'm misremembering. I'm not home but I'll check when I get there.
Yes!

8 bit screenshot from the original Legend of Zelda. An old man stands between two burning torches inside a dark cave. On the screen in white block letters are the words, It is dangerous to go alone. Take this. Link, in a green tunic and cap, faces the old man as a wooden sword is offered to him. The cave walls are red and patterned in a repeating pixel design.
The Legend of Zelda is 40 years old today. It came out in 1986 for the NES, and when it showed up at friendβs place, you knew it. We all gathered around the TV, someone had a notebook for secrets and maps, and afternoons turned into an adventures.

Not sure if this is what you're using but I leave this on a TV in the background while I work. Been really enjoying it.

I like this. A lot!
So I've designed a desktop arcade cabinet for the MiSTer. Features tool-less rotatable high res 9.7 inch iPad screen, easily replaceable control panel and stereo audio speakers all powered from a single USB-C power source.

Still journeying through Do Re Mi Fantasy on the #SNES. The English translation lets me appreciate every cutscene, but even without it, the magic holds strong. It's a mystery why such an amazing game never made it to the U.S.

Have to admit, this was a band who "fell through the cracks" for me growing up. Not sure why. I heard Sister Christian all the time and liked it, but nothing else from their catalog.

Quads but filled with geometric shapes and patterns. Reminds me of maritime signal flags.

An abstract pen plot of squares of various sizes outlined with black rounded corners, sometimes dividing into smaller squares. Each square is filled with small dots of CMY color of varying size and density. From a distance, the dots form a different color but close up the dots can be seen clearly.

Having more fun with this composition of quads filled with Ben Day dots which is slow to plot because thereβs so much pen up and down motion.
